No. Puhunan.ph is a loan lead generator, loan matching platform, and broker. The partner lender makes the decision on your loan.
Does Puhunan.ph charge any fees?
Puhunan is free for borrowers. We are paid by partner lenders for referrals. Anyone asking for payment in the name of Puhunan does not represent us.
Who decides on my loan?
The partner lender. Puhunan.ph does not approve loans.
Why do you need a valid ID?
Your valid ID helps partner lenders verify that you are a genuine applicant and speeds up their review. We use it only to match and forward your inquiry. We share it only with lenders matched to you. It is encrypted in storage and in transit. We delete it from Puhunan's systems 30 days after forwarding, or 30 days after submission if no match is made. We do not sell it or use it for marketing.
Who gets my information?
Only the partner lenders listed on our site, and only if you consent.
How do I know if a lender is SEC-registered?
Check the SEC registration and CA number on our Partner Lenders page. You can also verify this on the SEC website.
How do I withdraw consent or have my data deleted?
You can: be informed; access your data; correct it; object to or withdraw consent; ask us to delete or block it; obtain a copy in a portable format; and seek compensation for violations. Email dpo@puhunan.ph or use our Privacy Request Form. We respond within 15 working days. Withdrawing consent stops future sharing; it does not recover data already passed to a lender, but we will notify the lenders that you have withdrawn.
